The ETE Module SIG displayed the modules at the Long Beach GATS Show on November 11 &
12th, 1995. Several Bay Area ETE Module SIG members travelled to Long Beach, California
where the Club displayed 18 of their modules. The purpose of this trip was to help
increase local interest in European Trains in an effort to get the San Diego/Los Angeles
Chapter started.
During the show, attendees had a chance to see all types of passanger and freight trains running on both mainline tracks. From 3 rail AC or 2 rail DC, using Conventional or Digital power, all possible combinations were seen running throughout both days including operation using the live "Overhead Wire" (Catenary). Every Club member had an opportunity to show off their own trains and preferred rolling stock.
Below are some shots of the modules taken during the show.
