My layout is based on the end of a two line mainlaine that merges into a single track line. The layout is freelanced and based on some of my memories in Europe. I have two small stations, freight yard, engine service yard and turntable. I run Marklin trains and conventional transformers. I plan to go to digital soon. The catenary is non-existant due to lack of funds. I am 25 and currently enlisted in the Air Force, so money is tight. Also, being in the AF I am subject to moving so the layout is "disposable". I run all kinds of trains: steam, diesel and electric. I run all DB equipment in Era 3 and 4. I run the TEE, excursion trains, and various freight trains. The layout is completely illuminated for night operations and I can, if I'm careful, run 3 trains at once. This is my first attempt at a layout and it took about eight months to get it where it is now. But it's never finished. I hope you like the pictures.
