The Metropolitan NY Chapter is very informally organized. Meetings are not held on a special day of the month, but at each meeting we decide what day would be convenient for most of the members. We meet about once a month, usually a Saturday afternoon, at a members home. Dues are collected only when the treasury is low, about $5.00 each collection. Refreshments are served at each meeting, and a $3.00 collection is held to help pay the host for the cost of refreshments. Most chapter members have their own layout in various state of construction. Since most members have their own layouts, there is little if any interest in module layouts. At meetings we discuss technical problems and procedures, and run engines members have brought.
